Group
Ownership and Disposition Strategies
Price: $45.
The
Group Ownership and Disposition Strategies course
is highly specialized and is a
commercial/investment practitioner's guide to
decision making strategies in the disposition of
commercial and investment real estate. Agents who
practice in the field of commercial and investment
brokerage need to be able to assist their clients
in formulating appropriate disposition strategies,
and they need to be aware of the current state of
the Federal Income Tax law relating to disposition
issues.
The
course also provides alternatives to the
individual ownership of commercial and investment
real estate. Group Investing is a popular
alternative way for the ownership of real estate
to be held. Groups formed with as few as two
investors to groups with several thousand
investors own a substantial portion of the
commercial and investment real estate in the
United States. It is important for a real estate
agent or broker to be aware of the many facets of
group ownership so as to protect the investors who
are anticipating making an investment in a group
which will own commercial and investment real
estate.
Fundamentals
of Commercial Real Estate
Price: $35.
This course is designed for agents or brokers who are in the
residential business and want to learn about
commercial real estate, and for agents and brokers
who are currently in the commercial business. The
course covers the basics of commercial real
estate, and is written so you may complete the
course without the use of any financial
calculator. Financial information in the course is
on a "before tax" basis. The course
provides basic, practical information that can
introduce you to the commercial real estate
practice.
After completing this
course, you will be able to determine if you want
to enter commercial real estate practice on a
full-time basis, or if you want only to refer
prospective clients to experienced commercial
practitioners, or if commercial real estate
practice is not for you. If you are already active
in commercial real estate, this course will
provide basic, practical information that can be
used to better serve your existing clients, and
help you to attract new clients.
